Bryce is a troubled high school kid who feels joining the service will help him cope and growup. LexI is the quite girl who holds a crush on him and wants to make him her first. She has no idea that when eddie and Bryce play a crule joke that almost goes too far until Bryce intervenes. They both have scars that go very deep because of the consequences of that fateful night. Lexi writes to Bryce without saying who she is. The letters help Bryce throughthe rough times in the service and he writes her back having feelings for this girl who understands him even though he doesn't know who she is.
When he comes home his guilt over the incident with eddie and lexi makes him feel terrible and he doesn't want to look at her. They start to get together and her jealous best friend Anna does something unthinkable. LeXi the tries to maKe her heart belong to Bryce even after his betrayal. In steps her life long friend luke to complicate her feelings even more. The twists and turns in this story keeps you on your toes. When you think k you know what will happen doesn't it makes you say oh maybe this is better. I enjoyed this book as it keeps things interesting. I recommend you try it.

This is my favourite series by JS Cooper, which is saying a lot cause I love all of her books.
I love how Lexi reached out to Bryce through her letters and got him through his time away with the Marines. I also loved how he had to come back and find this mystery person and thank them in person. They were amazing together and I don't want to give too much away but I loved how the series ended...it was perfect and I couldn't imagine it any other way...that's not saying it's how everybody would want it, but you'll just have to read it to find out.
Scarred- This was an emotional read for me. It was a great story and definitly played with my emotions throughout.

It moved along at a grrat pace and had characters that you fell in love with, characters that you hated and some that you both loved and hated at the same time. It was a great story, but would not suggest if you are feeling sad.

JS Cooper is a great author and everyone should experience the books that she writes.

Healed-I am so hooked on this amazing author. Once you start reading one of her books, there will be no putting it down. It moved along at a great pace, has characters that you will fall in love with and a story that will grab you and not let go. This has to be read.
These books were all about a true connection that two people can make while being miles apart. I liked these for that very reason, that one person can write down feelings and truths and have someone else feel the very same thing. It proves to us that its easy to have a connection with someone and not just physical. It shows us that LOVE can be achieved even if you really dont know yourself all that well. There is nothing better then when two people can come together to find that they can heal each other just by simply being themselves. Bryce and Lexi found each other again after years of being each others rocks with out even knowing it was them. I love a good love story and that is what this was.
Lexi is a girl who has been through a lot and she still opens her heart to every one she loves. Anna and Luke are her best friends; Bryce and Eddie are best friends. Lexi has had a crush on Bryce ever since high school. Years pass and Anna keeps in touch with Bryce but he doesn't know it is her. Bryce and Eddie played a joke on Lexi; a joke that went too far and cost more than they bargained for. They live in a town where everyone knows everything and no secret is safe. No one is safe. Everyone in this book is "Scarred" in some way so the title could not have been more perfect. Who can you trust if you can't even trust those closest to you? If you are looking for a good scandalous read then this is definitely the book for you. With all of the scandals going on in this book it will definitely keep you interested.
"Healed" picks up right were "Scarred" leaves off. I can honestly say that this book will shock you in every way possible. There will be so many twists and turns in this book that will make you say what in the world just happened. This is one of those books where you will never guess the outcome. I recommend this book for anyone looking for a good read that will keep you entertained to the end.
