efinitely my favorite book by Violetta Rand so far.

We dive into the world of the Sons of Odin MC, which is along with the heroine Lily who is unfamiliar to this world. The rules, terms, and general attitudes are all something that lead to some pretty funny moments between Lily and Lang. She is primp and proper, and Lang can come off as a caveman.

Lily has gone through more challenges in her life than you would expect, which draws Lang closer to her.

Lang definitely cares a lot about taking care of his sisters, who are in his care after his parents death. It was great to see the softer side of him throughout the book. That really made their love more believable since they both really care for children.

I loved that there was a definite twist at the end, that brought them together in an unexpected way. Although I think we will see them in future Sons of Odin books too.

There were unexpected moments of humor that I really enjoyed.

Another steamy read from Rand, I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.

I would have given this 4 stars if Lang had not done something at the end that was a cop-out to me. Overall I really enjoyed the book and can't wait for the next book in the series.
Persuasion is a great Biker MC Read. The first in the Sons of Odin MC series, we begin with Lang Anderson. Vice President of the Sons of Odin MC, he is thrust into the position of President, not what he was wanting but a position he is willing to take to bring his Club into the legal world, well as much as he can.

After the death of his parents, Lang has found himself bringing up his three younger sisters and when the oldest of the three gets herself into trouble at school, he fronts the Principal and agrees that she needs some counselling help. When he meets the Counsellor, she is not only someone he has recently met but someone he certainly wants to get to know a whole lot better.

Lilliana Gallo has left her home in Philadelphia after failed relationships and the breakdown of her parent's marriage. She is looking for a new beginning and has found one in the Apartments where her best friend Tina lives.

She is soon to start her new job as a Guidance Counsellor at the school where Lang's sister attends and when she comes face to face with Lang again, we are delighted with a truly enjoyable read.

This was a book I couldn't put down and I look forward to Possession, the next book in the series.

I haven't read other books by this author but I definitely loved this MC book. Loved Lang, the president of the club, he could be tough when needed but sweet when it came to Lily. Can't wait for the next book!
This is my first read by Ms. Rand but definitely not my last. I look forward to reading the next story in the Sons of Odin. This is a very well written story and has what all good MC romance books have - angst, sex, violence, sexy biker badass with heart and soooo swoon worthy! The romance was just perfect as far as I was concerned because you just know loving an MC biker cannot be easy! My advice is 'read it - you'll be so glad you did!'
I fell for this book so hard!! This is Violetta Rands best series yet. And I love all her books. Lang is a hot as hell man. That you are just itching to tame. And Lily is his perfect match. I don't quote the excerpt, because you can read it right there. But I will tell you. This book grabs you and you in, and you dont want to put it down. I devoured it. Can't wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book ! ! !
This is an MC story with a lot of detail regarding MC bylaws, codes, and lingo (as specific to this MC and the author's vision). I've read many MC alpha bad boy meets citizen female plots that worked perfectly. It's a frequent vehicle for these type stories. This one "felt" off from the beginning. There are the usual misunderstandings and misgivings about the relationship followed by drama within the club brotherhood and danger from outside and inside sources...very straightforward. But the ending through me off badly. I don't want to spoil it by getting any more specific but it doesn't end in a regular way and there are conflicting points in the story between the H having grown up in the MC founded by his grandfather (whose panhead sits on display in the clubhouse-shades of SOA) and a normal everyday guy. I can't explain it exactly but he's conflicting. I won't be re-reading this particular book by this author but I might read others in the future.
Violetta Rand's Persuasion(Sons of Odin #1) is a Must Read! Lang Anderson becomes the new MC's president after his uncle goes to jail. He is in charge of raising his 3 young sisters since the death of his parents.

Lang meets Lily Gallo after he saves her at a bar. They have instant chemistry, but Lily gets scared and calls a stop to it.

Langs sister Maya is having trouble at school and has to see the guidance counselor. When Lang takes her to school guess who's the new guidance counselor. Lily Gallo. The story unfolds from there.

Can't wait for the next book in this series!
